Great atmosphere, tasty food. The highly touted whole wheat pasta is interesting and flavorful, but much more lemony than expected. I was happy to experience it once, but I probably would not get it again. The bolognese sauce was super fresh and delightful. The pork chop was very tender, but the accompaniments are just OK. The service was good. I never felt like I was lacking anything, but we were not interrupted much either - just the way I like it. We will be back!

Made a reservation for a large group of 13 people about a month out and had a great night. I haven't been to the restaurant on a normal night so I only have the menu that we were given as reference. For larger tables, they allow you to choose from a three, four, or five course set menu. They have salads, pastas, and mains for you to choose from to curate your own dinner. We first went with the Beet Salad, rice balls, and the cauliflower salad. The Beet Salad was nice, fresh, and seasonal. The rice balls were a nice texture for an arancini, not to soft and not too cheesy. Paired with their homemade red sauce to cut through with a hint of acid made for a great start. The second course we went with a Tagliatelle, the Bucatini, and a Chitata which, paired with a fresh herb and butter, bolognese, and a white sauce with egg. Each pasta was very fresh and wonderfully balanced. Our only complaint was that we wanted more! For the main courses, we had the sea bass and chicken which were crispy and unctous in all the right ways. 5 stars for exceptional service with two young children in the party, responsive emailing with the front staff, and delicious food!

We LOVE this restaurant. We come here for special occasions and are happy every time. The food is wow. Love it. The only thing we didn't like was a pea pasta dish. But so far whenever we've explored the menu we've enjoyed it a lot. The cocktails are really nicely balanced and delicious. I truly have nothing bad to say about the service . Everyone is very attentive, available, and knowledgeable. Ambiance is intimate with a nice glow for special occasions

One of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood, hands down. I always love visiting here for special occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, any celebration really. Have been here a few times more and loved it every time. Fun to grab a seat at the bar and have a nice solo dinner or a quiet table in the back. The cauliflower salad is a can't miss for me. Perfectly salty anchovy dressing, a nice mix of crunchy raw cauliflower or tender roasted cauliflower. Rockfish with squid ink pasta was a familiar combination but delightful and delicate. Don't be afraid to order a focaccia to wipe the plate clean. And cant go wrong with the classic roast chicken salsa verde with potatoes. Good luck saving room for dessert. But you'll find it in you to at least top it off with an affogato.

Unique /true Italian style , with great service The menu is only one page but has nice variety of platters As appetizers we get the cauliflower and the stracciatella both were tasty full of savory flavors And then capellini Nero ( delicious black squid ink pasta with shrimp :was delicious but has a bit of spicy flavor. The oreccietta was delicious as well , whole wheat chitarra( this platter was amazingly delicious with egg yolk Black bass was ok For dessert olive oil cake covered with marmalade and vanilla panna cotta was outstanding Recommend!

First off, I can't believe this place only has four stars. Dined there Thanksgiving weekend and I was so impressed that I immediately booked a table for a birthday two weeks later. Where to begin! On a menu in which everything sounds outstanding, the house-made pastas are the stars. It was tough settling on just one, but I had the tagliatelle w/ veal bolognese (basically licked the bowl), while my friends had the pappardelle w/ lamb ragu and the whole wheat chitarra w/ wild mushrooms & egg yolk, both of which were just as delicious. In fact, I liked the chitarra so much, I got an order to go and had it for lunch the next day! The cocktail menu provided another dilemma -- they all sounded so good! I had the Paper Plane, a bourbon-based concoction with several other ingredients that sounded fancy and Italian, none of which I had ever heard of in my life. It was scrumptious. Oh, and let's talk about the service for a second... So when I booked the birthday dinner, I mentioned that we were celebrating. As soon as we were seated, a waiter came over and poured us each a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. See, it's touches like that that make people love a place and want to return again and again.

Fausto was lovely! We made a res for a party of 4 on a Saturday evening day of, though it was the weekend following Thanksgiving so maybe normally this wouldn't be possible. We ordered a couple apps (cauliflower, arancini, and focaccia) and 4 pastas (pappardelle, paccheri, capellini nero, and chitarra) to share. This was a perfect amount of food. Mt favorites: the cauliflower (loved the anchovy caper vinaigrette) and the paccheri (delicious lemony flavor) I'd say our experience was a 4.5 out of 5 because we had to wait a little while for our table to be ready despite having a res, and the coursing timing was a bit off (we had to wait longer than we waited to between the first and second round of pastas). Otherwise everything was fantastic. Would recommend and would go back!

This was a meal that had no misses for me! Everything was excellent. I got the settanta cinque to drink and it was better than I was expecting, as it was a great balance of sweet and smokiness. I often find that mezcal drinks can be too smoky and overpowering but this drink struck a great balance between the flavors. We ordered the little gem salad to start per our server's recommendation and it was absolutely delicious. For my main, I ordered the orecchiette pasta and wow!! So good. The fennel braised beef was so flavorful and you could absolutely tell that the pasta was homemade. The shape of the pasta also works great for this dish as the cup shape allows you to scoop up the beef all in one bite. Our server did a great job of walking us through the menu and providing recommendations. Overall a great place for date night or dinner with friends!! Make a reservation if you can.

Great food and service. They have a few outdoor seats for the people who will probably never feel comfortable dining indoors like myself again (I know most people aren't where I'm at, but the continued offering of some outdoor seats is truly appreciated). Our multiple servers were very friendly and helpful. I had the orange wine which was delicious and tasted like juice, and my friend and I started with the focaccia and the arancini. Both were great but the arancini really knocked it out of the park. For ny main, I had the campanelle. It was very tasty, especially with the kick from the spicy lamp sausage. I definitely would recommend it. My friend had the orecchiette - I tried his and we both agreed it was a little salty. But the campanelle was just right and I'd totally get it again. I had gelato for dessert - it was good but I've had better gelato. I think I'd opt for the panna cotta next time instead. I would definitely return!
